How do I read the emails once they have been recovered? For instance I can see the recipients and senders of the mail along with the subject of the mail, but I can't open to see the contents of the mail.
Can you please help?

There is an application called MiTeC Mail Viewer. Although Open DBX Files might work, the MiTeC Mail Viewer is recommended because it works without having Outlook installed on your computer. After you download the application, extract it and go to File > Open and choose an option which suits your needs.
When using the application, you can only specify the source folder. If you perform recovery, the emails will be saved to a new DBX file with the location in the installation folder. This means that you will need to browse to the installation folder of the main application.
